Melissa Kempf, MD

Melissa Kempf, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and the medical director of Injury and Health Institute in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Kempf is a passionate physician who enjoys helping patients find the solutions they need to improve their quality of life.

Many patients who join the practice family are happy to rely on Dr. Kempf for their medical care. She provides expert guidance while having a friendly bedside manner, allowing them to open up about their health issues and play an active role in their care.  

Dr. Kempf completed her doctorate in medicine at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She is certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).

At Injury and Health Institute, Dr. Kempf and her team focus on delivering primary care and urgent care services with compassion, respect, and relatability. They routinely provide care for children and adults with acute injuries and illnesses of all types. 

Dr. Kempf values each patient that comes into the practice, working closely with them to deliver treatments that meet their wellness needs. She is happy when her patients are able to regain their function, independence, and mobility.
